Description


The Photo

This is the first shot I submitted after I got my new camera . I wanted to create a composition about "composition" . I used a tripod and machine's self-timer function to keep camera stable . I used a desk lamp as lightsource . Fingers are mine .

Photoshop Work

I cropped a square from the left side of the original photo (I didn't changed it's original height) . I used channel mixer's monochrome setting with %40R %30G and %30B . I adjusted levels and used vignette tool to make corners darker . Lastly I selected "sepia" from "photo filter" menu .

Ahaha, I love the concept and how much this reminds me of piano keys. That possible allusion (if that's what you wished to convey) is extremely interesting and refreshing.

If not this still is a superb picture, very elegant in its way and appealing :).
